Well, another successful Bank Holiday Dog Show! Although the sun decided not to join us, there were still plenty of keen dogs and cheering crowds. In one class we had over 20 dogs!

Again, Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare came down to give their Homeless Hound Parade, and introduce us to some of the gentle, loving, laidback hounds that need re-homing after their life on the race track. It was a great opportunity for people to meet the dogs and the volunteers, and find out more about this remarkable charity.
We'd added extra classes this year to liven things up, and we weren't disappointed! There were some brilliant Fancy Dress outfits…
…super Tricks and Moves…
…speedy Sausage Eaters…	…skilful Ball and Spoon handlers…
…quick sprints to grab a chair and lots of Waggy Tails   – not to mention exhausted owners and judges!
	The Dogstacle Course proved a great hit, and this year's times were even faster than last year! With Molly the Labrador who won the agility kit completing the course in just 17 seconds!! She beat off stiff competition from Lolly the Maltese and Dakota the Huskie in a breathtaking final.
Overall we raised an astonishing £469 for Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare, through class entry, dogstacle course, Bob a ball, selling Bonnie Dogs T-Shirts, donations, the raffle and the WGW Teddy Tombola. The money will be used to buy food and blankets for the Greyhounds, as well as paying vets bills.
